Skippered Yacht Charter in the Mediterranean - Sailing events

Comfort and security with excellent qualities of performance, the legendary racing yacht "Running Tide", offers that you participate in sailing events in the Mediterranean from May to September. 

Eric Pol, owner & skipper, invites you aboard to participate and share the fun of these cruises, regattas and rallies.

"Running Tide", 60 foot sloop, designed by Sparkman & Stephens in 1969, built in aluminum by Royal Huisman in Holland, has won several times, the Bermuda Race, the North Sea Race, the SORCSouthern Ocean Racing Circuit in the U.S.A and 300 others.

CIMCommittee International Mediterranean Classed Traditional Classic yachts - built before 1975 Yacht.

Today the boat navigates the Mediterranean and participates each year in several rallies and cruises.

The yacht can accommodate 10 - 12 crew plus the skipper. She is comfortable and fully equipped for your security.  The interior is 'open-space', (obligatory for an ancient racing boat) with 2 cabins and 9 very comfortable and adaptable gimbaled bunks.

Participation costs

To crew, a participation towards the costs is demanded and  varies according to the sailing event. The participation does not include the crew's traveling costs (train, plane etc.), food, diesel, out board motor petrol and mooring charges (payable only for the return as on the outgoing trip the costs are included in the boat's inscription).  Note that the crew's participation includes the docking charges in the ports en route, 'aperatifs', organised dinner evenings and dinner galas as well as sightseeing visits which are organised free of charge for the crews. 

There is a kitty for food, diesel and mooring charges, in which everyone, including the skipper, contributes.
